Where every temple
is found, honoured,
and known.
DharmSetu is the trust ledger for India’s sacred places. Most temples are undocumented, unverified, and invisible online. We give each one a structured digital identity — verified by community, transparent by design.

The doctrine
Trust is the main
product.
Everything we build sits on one rule: a record is not public until it is verified. The four chapters below explain how we earn that trust.
Verification you can audit
Every temple passes a four-step ladder — self, volunteer, document, community. We publish who verified what, and when. Nothing is opaque.
Discovery built on real ground
GPS-accurate listings, district atlases, pilgrimage routes — drawn from coordinates verified on foot by trained volunteers, not scraped from search engines.
A network of seva
Pujari services, cleanliness drives, bhandara coordination, welfare requests — all tethered to a verified temple. Help reaches the right place.
A cultural archive that lasts
Festival calendars, oral histories, sthal puranas, deity stories — preserved with permission of the trust, attributed to the storyteller, kept for the next generation.
Verification ladder
Four seals,
earned in order.
A temple at level one is invisible to the public. Visibility begins only at level two. Each subsequent seal is a public, auditable event.
Self
Self Registered
A temple submits its own listing. Not yet visible to the public — only to administrators.
Admin only
Volunteer
Volunteer Verified
A trained volunteer visits in person. Photos and GPS confirmed. The listing now becomes publicly searchable.
Publicly visible
Document
Document Verified
Trust registration, deeds, and pujari KYC are uploaded and reviewed. The temple receives the second seal.
Publicly visible
Community
Community Trusted
Sustained good standing, no flags, active seva. The highest seal — earned, not granted.
Publicly visible
Registration
Three steps.
No bureaucracy.
We deliberately keep registration short. The work of verification belongs to the community, not to the temple submitting its name.

Share the basics
Temple name, primary deity, address, two photos. Roughly three minutes. You can return and refine the rest later.
A volunteer visits
